The 2026 Sanganai/Hlanganani Dzimbabwe tourism expo wrapped up in Masvingo on 12 September 2026, breaking records with 405 exhibitors and 153 international buyers, according to organisers.
The annual event, which serves as Zimbabwe’s largest tourism trade platform, brought together industry players from across the country and key source markets to network and showcase the nation’s travel offerings.
This year’s expo saw a significant increase in participation compared to previous editions, reflecting growing interest in Zimbabwe as a tourism destination. The gathering provided a crucial opportunity for local operators to connect with global buyers and promote everything from safari experiences to cultural heritage sites.
Officials said the strong turnout underscored the sector’s resilience and its role in driving economic growth. The expo is part of broader efforts to position Zimbabwe as a competitive destination in the region.
